附:留学生安全常识
1、宿舍安全
(1)留学生应严格遵守宿舍管理规定,自觉维护宿舍的安全与卫生整洁,并接受管理人员的定期检查,提高自我管理能力;
(2)尽量避免夜间外出校园,不提倡深夜在校园里逗留很晚,建议夜间10:00之前返回宿舍。温馨提示:离开宿舍及就寝时一定要锁好门窗;贵重物品最好锁在柜子或抽屉里,现金要存入银行,护照等重要证件要妥善保管。
2、人身和财产安全
(1)学生必须严格遵守中国法律、法规和学校的各项规章制度,注意自身的人身和财物安全,防止各种事故的发生;
(2)离开学校或外出旅游时要告诉同学和老师,并与他们保持联系;
(3)不要轻易搭乘陌生人的顺路车;
(4)不要接受陌生人的食品和饮料;
(5)一旦发生刑事、治安案件或交通、灾害等事故时,应该立即向老师和学校保卫部门报告,寻求学校或公安部门的帮助,以便得到及时处置,切勿擅自寻求私了的渠道,产生更大的损失和伤害;
(6)要牢记银行卡密码,不要泄露给任何人;
(7)在自动取款机取款时,遇到身边有人时,不要轻易输密码。遇到取款机发生故障时,不要离开取款机,立即拨打下列各个银行的服务热线:

3、社交安全
(1)尊重各个国家的民族风俗,与同学友好相处,特别是在宿舍里要充分尊重他人的生活习惯,相互体谅,同学间要以平等、互谅、互信的原则交往和处事,创建和谐友好氛围;
(2)在校外租房的学生,要与邻里搞好关系,不要夜间大吵大闹、高声放音乐广播,不做影响邻居生活的事;
(3)学生组织集体课外活动,须经学校同意,按学校规定进行;
(4)在公共场所,要遵守社会公德,增强安全防范意识,提高自我保护能力,不要轻易地相信陌生人而轻率的结交朋友,要记得世界的多样性和复杂性,要增强明辨是非的能力;
(5)同学之间应该相互关心,在平时的交往中如果发现同学有异常的行为表现时,也应该及时向老师报告,这样可以及时有效地避免意外事件的发生;
(6)同学之间一旦发生冲突,要克制情绪,避免矛盾激化,要立即报告分管老师,由老师协调处理。
4、网络安全
(1)学生使用计算机网络,应当遵循中国和学校关于网络使用的有关规定,不得登录非法网站、传播有害信息;
(2)网上聊天时,尽量避免使用真实姓名,不轻易告诉对方自己的电话号码、住址及个人信息;
(3)网上购物时,选择合法的、信誉较高的网站交易,防止个人账号、密码遗失或被盗,造成不必要的损失。
5、公共场所注意事项
(1)吃饭、住宿、购物时请到正规营业场所并索要发票,乘坐出租车也要索要发票,下车时一定检查随身物品;
(2)在车站、景点、商店等人多场合,要注意防盗,要将背包放在身前,防止后裤袋、背包里、手机等被人偷走;
(3)骑自行车时,不要随意将书包夹在车后座上或放在车筐里,以免丢失;
(4)在教室、食堂、体育场等公共活动场所,书包、衣物(手机、钱包)等不要随意乱放,不能随身携带时要交由熟人保管。
6、预防火灾小常识
(1)安全使用电器,离开房间时要关闭电源及煤气,长时间离开要拔掉冰箱等电器电源;
(2)不乱扔烟头,不躺在床上吸烟,不要把发热的电脑放在床上,不在屋里乱点蜡烛及香料;
(3)不挪用和损坏消防器材,不堵塞消防通道;
(4)不在校园内、住所燃放烟花爆竹;
(5)一旦发现火灾或者不安全隐患,立刻拨打 “119”火灾电话,并采取有效措施(学习使用灭火器、水、沙子)将初始火源及时扑灭;
(6)火灾来袭时,用湿毛巾捂住鼻子向安全地方撤离;
(7)穿越浓烟逃生时,要尽量使身体贴近地面,以免窒息;
(8)遇火灾时,千万不要使用电梯,平时要牢记宿舍的逃生路线。
7、交通安全注意事项
(1)遵守交通法规,行人和自行车沿右行驶,并注意交通安全;
(2)市内禁止留学生骑燃油摩托车;
(3)文明慢速骑车,不在马路上高速骑助力车,不互相追逐;
(4)酒后绝对不能驾车,防止交通事故发生;
(5)迷路时请问交通警察。
8、防骗小常识
(1)不要将个人护照、学生证、银行卡转借他人;
(2)不要将个人信息随意提供给陌生人,以防被人利用;
(3)不要轻易相信街头散发的传单、宣传资料以及网上和手机发布的信息;

GeneralKnowledge for Safety
1. Safety at Dormitory
(1) International students shouldstrictly observe the regulations of dormitory management and be checked by theteachers regularly. They should keep the room clean and tidy andmaintain safety. Meanwhile they need to enhance the capability forself-management.
(2) Students are advised not tostay out of the dormitory too late and they must return home before 10:00o’clock at night.
Reminder: Please shut the doorand windows when sleeping or leaving your room. Please take good care of thevaluables, including passport. Lock them in the drawersorcabinet and put cash in the bank.
2. Personal and property safety
(1)Students must abide by China’s laws, regulations as well as the rules of theuniversity. They need to raise safety awareness and learn to protectthemselves against occurrence of any accidents;
(2)When leaving school or going out for a tour, please inform theteacher-in-charge and classmates and keep in touch with them all the time;
(3)Don’t take a lift in a stranger’s car;
(4)Don’t accept food or drinks from any stranger;
(5)In caseof a criminal, public security related, traffic, or any other cases includingfire, report to the teacher-in-charge and public security body to seek helpfrom them. Do not try to solve the problem by yourself in private, which mightincur further loss or harm;
(6)Keep in mind the password of the bank card and don’t let anyone else know;
(7)While withdrawing cash from ATM, look around first and don’t let anyone see thepassword. In case the ATM breaks down, do not leave the site and call thefollowing number immediately.

3. Safety for social interaction
(1) Students should respect various custom of different countries,and associate with each other based on the principles of equality, mutualunderstanding and mutual trust in an effort to create a harmonious and friendlyatmosphere, especially in the dormitory where respect of others’ ways of life ,tolerance and understanding are needed;
(2) For studentsrenting a place outside the campus, they should try to get on well with theirneighbors and avoid disturbing their neighbors’ lives, such as playing musictoo loudly, making noises at night and etc;
(3) If students wish to organize any group extracurricularactivities, approval must be sought from the School, and then proceed in linewith relevant regulations;
(4) Students should comply with social morals at public places andraise the awareness of safety and prevent themselves from any harm. Be cautiouswith strangers or making friends with them. Keep in mind of the complexity in the world and enhance the ability to distinguish right andwrong;
(5) Classmates should take care of each other. If there is anyabnormal behavioral problem with any classmate, inform the teacher-in-chargeimmediately so as to prevent any accidents from happening;
(6) In case of a confrontation between classmates, restrain thetemper and avoid escalation. Meanwhile inform the teacher-in-charge and seekhelp from him/her.
4. Internet security
(1) Students should abide by theregulations of internet usage and mustn’t log on to illegal websiteor spread harmful information;
(2) While chatting online, avoidusing real name or revealing telephone number, address or any other personalinformation;
(3)While shopping online, please choose legal shopping websites with goodreputation and guard against personal account number or password frombeing stolen, which would cause unnecessary loss.
5. Do’s and Don’ts in public
(1)For dining, lodging or shopping, please go to the legally registered business,and ask for invoice upon paying. Do the same while taking a taxi and check yourpersonal belongings before getting off;
(2)Guard against theft while at a crowded place, such as bus or railway station,scenery spot, shop and so on. Bags should be carried at the front of the body.Take good care of your belonging, such as back pocket, bag, and mobile phone,not to let them be stolen;
(3)When riding a bicycle, don’t put the bag on the backseat or in thebasket in case it might get stolen;
(4)At public places, e.g. classroom, canteen, stadium, do not leave personalbelongings (including wallet and mobile phone) around without care. If need to,ask your friends to take care of them for you.
6. General knowledge for fire-prevention
(1)Use electrical appliances properly and turn off power and gaswhen leaving the room. Disconnect power for fridge, etc if goout for a long time;
(2) Don’t throw cigarettebutt everywhere. No smoking in bed. Don’t leave computer, which produces heat,on the bed. Don’t burn candle or incense in the room for the sake of safety;
(3)Do not shift or damage fire extinguishers. Do not block fire controlpassageways;
(4)Don’t let off firecrackers on campus or in the residential area;
(5)In case of fire, the student should call “119” immediately and takeeffective actions to put out the fire at its initial stage (Studentsshould learn how to use a fire extinguisher, water and sand to put out fire);
(6)Cover nose with a wet towel and retreat to safety when fire breaks out;
(7)When escaping through thick smoke, lower your body and make it as close to theground as possible to avoid suffocation;
(8) When fire happens, don’t uselift. And keep in mind the emergency escape routes in the dormitorybuilding at all times.
7. Traffic safety
(1)Observe the traffic rules and pay attention to traffic safety. Driveor walk (or ride a bike) along the right side of the road;
(2)It is forbidden to ride any fuel-powered motorcycle within the city of Tianjin;
(3) Do not ride an E-bike toofast, and do not try to chase each other on the road;
(4)Drunk-driving is completely forbidden in China to prevent accidents fromhappening;
(5)When you lose your way, get help from the traffic policeman.
8. Anti-theft knowledge
(1)Don’t lend your passport, student card or bank card to any others;
(2)Don’t provide strangers with personal information, which might be manipulated;
(3) Don’t unthinkingly trust theadvertisements in flyers, publicity materials or the information received onthe mobile phones or website;
